25.4.16
The Armenian community of Argentina, along with human rights organizations and political parties, marched for the 101th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on the evening of Monday, April 25 under the slogans "memory, truth, justice and reparation for the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Turkish state" and "peace in Nagorno-Karabakh, against Azerbaijani aggression."

"Today, Turkey and Azerbaijan use millions of dollars to fund genocide denial. They buy politicians and academics offering them travels and trade agreements, they use them to clean the bloody image of their countries, they oppress its people and restrict the freedom of expression by imprisoning those who choose not to lie and distort the truth," said the youth community organizations of Buenos Aires in their speech.

Estela de Carlotto, president of Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, and Taty Almeida, of Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo Founding Line, along with a lot of political parties, sent letters of support to the Armenian community and their struggle. Cordoba province of Argentina also held a rally at noon.
